On 25 September 2024 Solar Power World reported: Construction has begun on a new terminal at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), which will host a 13,000-panel solar array on its roof. The Terminal One solar array will be the largest in New York City and likely the largest at any airport terminal in the country.
