Electric vehicles to power IKEA deliveries

On 28 June 2018 The Hindu reported: Furniture retailer IKEA has ambitious plans to adopt electric vehicles across its operations in India as well as to encourage staff and customers use eco-friendly vehicles. ' In our first year in India, around 20 percent of our customer delivery fleet will comprise electric vehicles. This number is planned to increase to 40 percent in the second year and 60 percent in the third year [of operations],' Patrik Antoni, Deputy Country Manager of IKEA India said.
