Dr Norman Rosenthal comes to Dublin this fall. The eminent psychiatrist and bestselling author will speak 11 October at the Clyde Court Hotel.
Originally from South Africa, Dr Rosenthal is a clinical professor of psychiatry at Georgetown University Medical School and served for 20 years as a senior researcher at the National Institute of Mental Health in the US.
His research into Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and pioneering use of light therapy have helped millions of people around the world.
Dr Rosenthal's most recent book is the New York Times bestseller Transcendence: Healing and Transformation through Transcendental Meditation. Cardiac surgeon and media personality Mehmet Oz, MD, describes Transcendence as 'a profoundly important book . . . incredibly valuable.'
Dr Rosenthal's 11 October lecture on this topic will highlight the wide range of scientific research on Transcendental Meditation.
