All of the programmes developed by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi to benefit the individual and society make important contributions to health, an expert in this field said recently—including those from the approach of consciousness:
'This includes every person who practises Transcendental Meditation twice a day for 20 minutes, who is bringing good health to himself, and also radiating that positive influence to his environment,' said Dr Rainer Picha, Minister of Health of the Global Country of World Peace.
Also noted were programmes for societal health, through the coherence generated in collective consciousness by people who practise the advanced Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying, especially in groups.
The Maharishi Vedic Pandits in India, in MERU, Holland, and other countries were recognized for their special daily peace-creating Vedic performances on behalf of individuals, nations, and the world.
The positive effect of the Pandits' performances is spreading to every corner of the world today, making a great contribution for peace and health, Dr Picha said, commenting that 'peace in the physiology is basically the same as health.
'Everything contributes to health—whatever we do is bringing wholeness and completeness, and strengthening health from . . . the field of Atma (the Self), the field of consciousness.'
This is our expertise, gained through Maharishi's programmes, Dr Picha said, 'and that is basically the way to bring perfect health. So everyone here and around the world is helping the health ministry to bring perfect health to every individual and every nation.'
