Medical doctors and other health professionals in South Korea recently had the opportunity to hear about the programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in their field.
They were inspired by presentations given by Dr Ashley Deans, Global Ambassador for Consciousness-Based Education, during his recent visit to that country.
Dr Deans gave a presentation on Maharishi's Vedic Approach to Health at a health institute. They discussed the possibility of incorporating the Transcendental Meditation Technique into their integrative medicine programme.
He also spoke at a hospital to an audience of 50.
A world-renowned radiologist and medical inventor met with Dr Deans. He was especially interested in research on the Transcendental Meditation Programme and brain functioning, and expressed interest in conducting further research in this field.
People in every area were inspired when they heard Dr Deans speak about the benefits of Maharishi's programmes, said a South Korean teacher of the Transcendental Meditation Programme.
