Dr Rainer Picha, Minister of Health of the Global Country of World Peace, recently expressed great fulfilment that the knowledge of Maharishi Vedic Medicine is now available via online courses through Maharishi University of Vedic Medicine.
'This is a very important initiative from the Health Ministry's point of view,' Dr Picha said.* He explained that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi worked for a long time to make sure this new system of health care was complete—'to bring back the value of consciousness into the health care system to make it really complete and perfect'.
Maharishi brought out many details of all the different aspects and departments of Maharishi Ayur-Veda and integrated health care, and it is fulfilling to now see the whole approach coming to fruition, Dr Picha said.
Dr Picha congratulated Raja Felix Kaegi, Raja of Invincible Switzerland for the Global Country of World Peace, all his colleagues at the University, and other doctors and leaders in Maharishi Ayur-Veda who are involved with the university.
He also praised the Deputy Minister of Health, Dr Walter Molk, who is 'a champion of this curriculum. We cannot count the hours that Dr Molk sat with Maharishi over the last ten years' in designing the curriculum and programmes.
Dr Picha wished Maharishi University of Vedic Medicine great success with many students. 'The modern use of Internet will speed up the spreading of Maharishi's knowledge in this area, so the ultimate goal of creating a disease-free world is now taking concrete forms and steps.'
* Dr Picha spoke during the 18 June Maharishi Global Family Chat, which is broadcast daily via Internet webcast on the Maharishi Channel, Channel 3. Podcasts of the daily Global Family Chat (audio track) are also now available for automatic download, via an RSS feed.
