A recent news story about the effects of Transcendental Meditation on blood pressure that has been circulating through the world press has caused a wave of serious interest in South Korea.
The news story focussed on a recent scientific research study conducted at the University of Kentucky, USA, which found that the Transcendental Meditation Technique was the most effective of all meditation or relaxation techniques at lowering high blood pressure. News about the study appeared in several major publications and internet portals, reported Dr Kingsley Brooks, Raja [Administrator] of the Global Country of World Peace for South Korea.
'As a result of the news stories, directors of the Global Country of World Peace in South Korea have received invitations to speak at an upcoming conference on conflict resolution', announced Raja Kingsley. 'Several members of the South Korean government have asked for presentations on Maharishi's programmes for peace. We look forward to teaching many Transcendental Meditation courses in South Korea, introducing TM in the schools, and quickly creating invincibility for this peace-loving country'.
