Dr Robert Keith Wallace, the First Scientist of the Age of Enlightenment, and pioneering researcher on the physiological effects of Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation Technique, spoke recently about the profound knowledge of Veda and Vedic Literature in the human physiology discovered by Maharaja Naader Raam under the guidance of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.
Dr Wallace said, 'Maharaja Nader Raam made the remarkable discovery—this amazing achievement—of being able to see the body as the entire universe—that each individual is cosmic, giving us incredible insight into the mechanics of evolution. In his uncovering of the Ramayana [a part of the Vedic Literature] in the physiology, Maharaja Nader Raam has made one of the greatest achievements ever by showing that this beautiful story of Raam is really the story of our own evolution.
'Each stage in that story,' explained Dr Keith Wallace, 'each incredibly minute incident and detail of each activity of different characters who are interacting, is portrayed by him in terms of a very precise unfoldment of the brain itself. . . . It is seen in terms of a very specific part of the brain regaining coherence within it—so that the progression of Raam as he goes through his various stages . . . is all seen in terms of the individual remembering who he is.
'This ancient story is just the story of our own evolution, of how our brain gradually recaptures each area, whether it is the thalamus, the cerebellum, or some part of the cortex. In each part of it we are in a new world. From one side we see it as the outside world, and from the other, as an elegant description of our internal physiology.
'Each detail is portrayed so exactly that we begin to realize that the whole process . . . is just a process of remembering who we are. It is just a process of regaining lost territory.
'That status is just within us. The technology is just transcending . . . enlivening some aspect within ourselves that has gone to sleep. As that area, whether it be [for example] the thalamus, or a specific nuclei in the thalamus, where that Law of Nature has gone to sleep, becomes revived, suddenly the brain begins to operate in a more coherent and lively manner.'

Dr Wallace was the first in the world to scientifically establish the existence of a fourth state of consciousness—Turiya Chetana or transcendental consciousness—as distinct from waking, dreaming and sleeping, achieved effortlessly by anyone through the practice of Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation Technique.
This experience of the fourth state of human consciousness opens for every human being a gateway to perfect health, vitality, prevention of disease, and longevity.
