Dr John Hagelin, Minister of Science and Technology of the Global Country of World Peace, recently discussed two aspects of the Vedic Literature, Itihas and Puran, in relation to the fulfilment of the needs of the age by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace.
Dr Hagelin's eloquent presentation was made during a global celebration in MERU, the Netherlands, honoring Dr Benjamin Feldman, the Minister of Finance and Planning of the Global Country of World Peace.
Dr Hagelin explained that it is a remarkable feature throughout these great epics, Itihas and Puran, that the declarations of the enlightened, the pronouncements of the great Vedic sages, have always been fulfilled. Sometimes immediately, and sometimes it takes a long time, but always they are fulfilled.
From that perspective, Dr Hagelin described how it is extraordinary, at the International Capital of the Global Country of World Peace, to witness the initiatives that pour forth from Maharishi every single day. He is a fountainhead of creativity in designing the destiny of the human race. Every idea is a gem, an encapsulated totality of knowledge—and there are too many even to keep track of completely.
But the incredible thing, Dr Hagelin said, is that all of these ideas, these pronouncements, these sankalps (intentions) will come to pass. Some instantly; sometimes it takes a day to organize, or longer. It can't always be anticipated how long it will take to organize—but each one of these seed ideas that Maharishi brings out of Total Knowledge will become part and parcel of the destiny of the world.
One realizes that Maharishi's incubation and continual outpouring of such great initiatives as his Six Point Programme to create a healthy, happy, prosperous society, and a peaceful world; Creating Invincibility for Every Nation; the Reconstruction of the World; and so on—all of these are just saturated in Total Knowledge, the speech of Gyana (knowledge), said Dr Hagelin. Every one will come to pass, which makes Maharishi's continuous daily activity of creating new initiatives the most precious activity in the universe.
Every one of these will transform the life of many generations, Dr Hagelin said, so it is crucial for the world to have a Minister of Finance and Planning of the genius of Dr Benjamin Feldman (who among countless other achievements has been greatly responsible for development of the Raam catalyst currency), whose Ministry can provide the support necessary to develop and make manifest these 'crystallized truths' that are the seeds of the destiny of the world.
