On 4 November 2018 The Hindu BusinessLine reported: Manarcadu Social Service Society (MASS), a collective of more than 5,000 organic farmers, will launch Rebuild Kerala 2021, a sustainable development plan to help farmers in Idukki to rebuild their farms and livelihoods through organic farming. ... the launch event will be held at Idinjamala in Idukki on November 26 where more than 100 organic farmers from various parts of the country will converge. ...Initially, around 2 lakh saplings will be distributed for free for cultivation in the fertile hill tracts of Idukki. ... The types of saplings include herbs, spices, fruits, vegetables, coffee, and cocoa.
