At a recent Global Press Conference on Unified Field-Based Agriculture, Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, spoke about the importance of farm buildings being in alignment with Natural Law for the maximum good fortune of the farmer and his farm.
Dr Morris said that another major item of the understanding that will be given at the Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture University in Goshen, in the state of New York, USA, is the knowledge of how the farm relates to the whole cosmic functioning. For example, the buildings on the farm, if they are not properly built, can create all kinds of unnecessary misfortune for the farmer and his family.
'The buildings have to be built so they are aligned with the cardinal directions, towards the north, south, east, and west, and towards the north star and the rising sun. The entrance has to be to the east to receive and bask in the rays of the dawning sun—the light of the most vital rays of the most powerful influence of Nature on earth, the sun—so that the building is completely fortune-creating,' said Dr Morris.
'This is called Vastuvidya of Maharishi Sthapatya Veda, the knowledge of how to establish life in accord with the whole cosmic functioning of how the solar system, the galaxy, and all the galaxies were structured by the Unified Field. On this level of understanding we can make sure that the farm always has good fortune from its buildings.
'It's also very important that the farmers learn at the Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture University that everybody has some kind of on-coming destiny, and that is not accidental. It's completely based upon our past actions, either recent or long, long ago. When you act according to the principle, ''As you sow, so shall you reap,'' the results come back to you.
'If you did good things, they may come back as good positive results. Or, if you did some wrong things, violating the laws of nature, they may come back to you in the form of disease or accidents. They may come back to you as misfortunes of many different kinds, and this of course can also damage the farmer, his family, and his farming as well.
'So what is vital is to use this knowledge of Vedic astronomy and Vedic astrology to understand from the Kundali or birth chart of the farmer, drawn from the moment of his birth, the oncoming trends of his life, so he can take action through Maharishi Jyotish and Yagya to remove any oncoming dangers to his life or the life of his family.
'This is a vital aspect of Vedic farming, to ensure that no calamities and catastrophes befall the farmer at any stage, through this very systematic approach of Vedic knowledge to predict future trends. And then, if they are negative, to use Vedic sounds, the Vedic Yagyas performed by the Vedic Pandits of India, to ameliorate or eliminate those oncoming negative influences that will cause a great pinch and great suffering to the farmer if they are not stopped before they arise—fulfilling the Vedic principle: Heyam duhkham anagatam, ''Avert the danger that has not yet come.'' Don't wait for the danger to come and then try and sort it out. Prevent the danger before it arises.
'So in all these different ways we have a completely new dawn of knowledge. Like the difference between darkness and light is modern chemical agriculture on the one side and Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture on the other side,' said Dr Morris.
