US: ''Mostly Music Summer Series'' to highlight Experience the Self course: July 27 - August 4, Fairfield, Iowa

Among the wealth of enriching experiences offered this summer in Fairfield, Iowa, USA, will be the Mostly Music Summer Series, a series of performances and lectures given in Dalby Hall on the campus of Maharishi University of Management.

The evening series, coinciding with the second annual 'Experience the Self' Course, 27 July - 4 August, features various bands and artists from around the region, performing a wide variety of music—plus lively presentations by special guest speakers on topics related to the development of consciousness, integrated brain functioning, and health and well-being.

Sunday, July 28: Rick Stanley and Tim Britton
Hailed as ''a phenomenon'' by Time magazine, Tim Britton is renowned as one of the leading players of the Irish uillean pipes, one of the sweetest and most complex bagpipes. Rick is a Ballad Singer/Songwriter/Harper/Guitarist and a veteran Celtic Bard—a world-class musician who has performed with greats like Paul Horn & Steven Stills. Rick has recorded seven albums, and most recently on his own CelticHarps indie label, which has just released ''Once Upon a Dream,'' called ''most beautiful CD of the year'' by Rolling Stone magazine.

Monday, July 29: Dr. Craig Pearson
Flying Throughout Time with Dr Craig Pearson, Executive Vice-President of Maharishi University of Management. He holds a Ph.D. in Maharishi Vedic Science from MUM and is the author of two books on the development of full human potential.

Tuesday, July 30: Prudence Farrow Bruns
The ''Dear Prudence'' story. The meditative muse for the Beatles' song ''Dear Prudence'' offers a glimpse into the past with her personal insights and stories of her well publicized time in India with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and the Beatles.

Wednesday, July 31: Dr. Nancy Lonsdorf
The Top Five Secrets of Healthy Cosmic Relationships, with Nancy Lonsdorf. Named ''one of the nation's most prominent Ayurvedic doctors'' by the Chicago Tribune, Nancy Lonsdorf, M.D., is a popular speaker, author, and recognized Ayurvedic expert specializing in healthy longevity and women's health issues.

Thursday, August 1: Dr. Fred Travis
Frederick Travis, Ph.D., director of the Center for Brain, Consciousness, and Cognition at Maharishi University of Management, is a world renowned brain scientist. He will be exploring the relationship between the mind, physiology, and consciousness.

Friday, August 2: 1st Fridays Art Walk
Enjoy 1st Fridays Art Walk and discover one of the reasons Smithsonian magazine picked Fairfield, Iowa, as one of the most intriguing small towns to enjoy arts and smarts in their April travel issue: The 20 Best Small Towns to Visit in 2013.

Saturday, August 3: All Souls on Deck
All Souls on Deck is a lyric-driven ensemble creating love songs on the art of living a full and conscious life. Equally comfortable in listening rooms, churches, and house concerts or holding court on a large festival stage, All Souls' repertoire of original music and select covers by the likes of Switchfoot, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, and Patti Griffin, welcomes all listeners to the church of ''Everything is Love.''
