Maharishi University of Management will offer a conference for educators, August 1-2—''Developing children's total potential from within: How Consciousness-Based Education can benefit your school and how you can introduce it''—in collaboration with the David Lynch Foundation.
The conference will be held on the MUM campus in Fairfield, Iowa, USA, during the 2nd Annual ''Experience the Self'' course.
Teachers and administrators who have successfully incorporated the Quiet Time program utilizing the Transcendental Meditation® technique, a basic component of Consciousness-Based℠ Education, will discuss their experiences with the program, as well as scientific research documenting its many benefits for students and teachers, including improved academic performance and reduced stress.
What participants will learn ∙ What is Consciousness-Based Education (CBE)? ∙ What are its benefits in elementary, middle, and high schools? ∙ What have been the experiences with CBE in public and private settings? ∙ What has scientific research in these schools shown? ∙ How to start a CBE program in your school or social service agency.
