Lectures at universities and schools drew tremendous interest throughout Cyprus in Consciousness-Based Education, the Transcendental Meditation Programme, and programmes to create coherence and harmony in national consciousness.
A lecture at a university in northern Cyprus organized by one of the professors drew many students 'and the response was really, really great,' said Dr Ashley Deans, Global Ambassador for Consciousness-Based Education, who spoke to the students as part of his recent tour.
After the presentation, students thronged around the speakers 'asking many many questions, wanting to learn Transcendental Meditation,' Dr Deans continued. Their great interest inspired the professor to organize a whole series of lectures at the university.
Dr Deans also met some of the professors and administrators at the university. They were especially enthusiastic about the possibility of increasing harmony in their nation through coherence-creating groups of Yogic Flyers.
In the coming days, Global Good News will continue to feature Dr Deans' Consciousness-Based Education tour in Cyprus.
