The article features the 11th Annual EcoFair, held two weeks ago at Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA.

The student-organized event, ''Energizing the Metamorphosis to Sustainability,'' celebrated the successes and strategies that are making the world a greener place, and included visiting speakers, workshops, vendors, and the 'EcoJam' fashion show.

MUM alumnus Robbie Gongwer showed his short documentary, 'Sustain Angoon,' about the introduction of sustainable energy technologies by MUM students, alumni, and faculty in a remote Alaskan village. The EcoFair also offered a large number of workshops on topics such as tree planting, permaculture gardens, biodynamic farming, edible landscapes, blacksmithing, and controlling electrical pollution.

Maharishi University of Management has become a leader in sustainability education with its rapidly growing undergraduate programme in Sustainable Living, which gives students the means to develop sustainability not only in the environment, but within themselves through its Consciousness-Based system of education.
