Turkey: Education official shows great interest in Consciousness-Based Education

An education official in Turkey recently showed great interest in Consciousness-Based Education, extending a presentation by experts on the subject for several hours.

Dr Ashley Deans*, Global Ambassador for Consciousness-Based Education, travelled to Turkey and spoke to many educators and students.

Raja Paul Potter, Raja of Invincible Turkey for the Global Country of World Peace, and Dr Deans both met with the official.

The meeting began at about 4:00p.m. Dr Deans and Raja Paul had scheduled another meeting with practitioners of the Transcendental Meditation Programme for 6:30 that evening at the local Maharishi Invincibility Centre, Dr Deans said.**

However, the education official was so deeply interested that the meeting lasted about four hours. A little before 6:30p.m., Raja Paul had to leave to go to the Centre,*** but Dr Deans stayed until 8:00p.m.

The official wanted to know how and why the brain becomes more integrated through the practice of the Transcendental Meditation Programme, said Dr Deans. He wanted to know all about the Unified Field, and all about the Maharishi Effect.

'It was one of the most amazing meetings . . . . It gave us a great feeling about Turkey and the level of interest in Maharishi's programmes,' Dr Deans said.
