A young school director and mother has a very clear vision of what she would like to do for the children of her city, for the children of the world, and for her country, Bosnia and Herzegovina—and to expand her school and other schools manyfold by training 'trainers of teachers'. The moment she heard about the Transcendental Meditation Programme, she knew that this was the element to add to her already very advanced school.
Within one week of her learning Transcendental Meditation, a two-page article appeared in a popular magazine in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Dr Ashley Deans recently visited the city where the school is located and was welcomed by the school director. Having learnt Transcendental Meditation in Belgium, she had been practising the technique for two weeks. Dr Deans visited the school and was impressed by the quality of all the teachers and how they teach.
The school director has sponsored all her teachers to learn Transcendental Meditation. She also invited all parents, teachers, and educators in the city to a presentation by Dr Deans on Consciousness-Based Education. One hundred forty people came, and more than half said they intended to take the next course in Transcendental Meditation.
Another public school teacher at Dr Deans' presentation said she would learn Transcendental Meditation and help introduce Consciousness-Based Education in schools.
