Speaking on Maharishi Global Family Chat, Raja Tom Stanley, Raja of Invincible Northern Ireland for the Global Country of World Peace, reported developments in Consciousness-Based Education taking place within his domain.
Raja Stanley reported that there are currently two school administrators in charge of introducing the Transcendental Meditation Technique into schools throughout Northern Ireland. 'These programmes are coming along at a very good pace,' he said. The Transcendental Meditation Technique has not only improved the atmosphere at the schools, but has contributed to their surrounding communities, which have historically endured much violence.
Raja Stanley reported that several teachers have encouraged that students' families be educated about Transcendental Meditation, so they can support their children in pursuing the opportunity to learn it. 'We want children as young as possible to be learning the technique,' he said, 'so they can avoid the stresses faced by so many young people in this nation.' In particular, Raja Stanley and school administrators hope to reach those students who have been exposed directly to violence, or who have even attempted suicide. 'Already, we've seen great transformations within families,' Raja Stanley commented in closing.
