As part of this occasion on 31 August 2008, which was broadcast around the world via satellite and Internet on Channel 3 of the Maharishi Channel, members of the Mother Divine Programme—from students at Maharishi University of Enlightenment to a senior in her golden years—also gave candid, heartfelt answers to a wide range of questions, which were presented by one of the Raj Rajeshwaris.
'Now we're going to hear directly from members of the Mother Divine Programme about what their life is like,' the Raj Rajeshwari said.

Can you tell me more about earning your degree while on the Mother Divine Programme?
Answer: I found that one of the greatest ways of participating in the Mother Divine Programme is to earn a degree at Maharishi University of Enlightenment. I felt as if I had the best of both worlds. Being a student I learned more and more every day. We took classes in all the traditional disciplines—math, writing, computer skills—all in the light of development of my own consciousness. I found that one of the most rewarding ways to spend my student years was on the Mother Divine Programme.
How has your life changed since joining Mother Divine?
Answer: Bliss—in every part of the day. . . . Whether I am working on my computer, walking down the road, cooking, doing asanas* or focused on some fine point of Maharishi's knowledge, whatever, I am aware of this world of bliss going on within—saturating my mind and body and heart. I often feel so extremely happy for no reason, that I can't contain it and I just laugh out loud or dance around my room. The bliss has awakened endless creativity and helps my mind to penetrate deeply into Maharishi's knowledge. But my favorite time is when my eyes are closed and my awareness is turned within during my practice of Transcendental Meditation and the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme [which includes Yogic Flying].
Maybe the best way to put it is to say that I feel more established in my own nature. I heard an analogy once that as a seed sprouts and grows into a sapling it constantly needs nourishment and some degree of protection until it is really established in its nature as a tree. At that mature stage, it provides shade, fruit, and flowers and can nourish and protect others. I feel that through being on Mother Divine I am progressing through these stages. . . . I have learned to contact my own Self, and to naturally draw on that ocean of bliss to nourish myself and everything around me.
We'd like to hear from a golden, new member of the Mother Divine Programme in her golden years.
Response: It is a great joy and honour to be here with you today. In my lifetime, which started in 1920, I have seen a lot of change, and [have had] many different experiences, as you can imagine. But I have to say that in these past few weeks that I've been on this course and in the home of Mother Divine, this I would have to say is the pinnacle of my human existence. What a heavenly community. Every lady here is so beautiful—inside and out. All are so soft, so nourishing, and so blissfully youthful. It just thrills the heart to be in a place where you are nurtured and cherished by everyone.
I am sure everyone is aware that throughout history there has always been a desire to find a fountain of youth. Well, I feel I have found it. And it is not just a fountain of youth on the material level of life, but is a fountain of youth and bliss springing up from deep within myself, at the deepest core of who I am.
I want to extend an invitation to all seniors, to come join me here in this heavenly abode of the Mother Divine Programme. After all, in our golden senior years we have the rare opportunity and responsibility to fulfil life's purpose on earth. This is not a selfish thing to do because the byproduct of it brings health and harmony to your family, your society, and to your world. This was proven to me the other day when I talked to my family members and they were also reaping the great benefits of my being here. What a fulfilment this is for a mother's heart.
Walking around the campus here I can envision a senior wing of this illustrious group of ladies. Please help me bring it to a reality. Do come, I would love to see you here so you can share the wealth of our heavenly fountain of youth. Thank you, Maharishi, for making my golden years, truly golden.
