On the Maharishi Global Family Chat on 17 September, Raja Paul Potter, Raja of Canada for the Global Country of World Peace, reported that in a recent conference with Teachers and practitioners of Transcendental Meditation and the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme across Canada, the 12 National Directors gave reports of their plans for the twelve areas of individual and national life.
'The Teachers are doing so well', Raja Potter said, 'in bringing out Maharishi's knowledge through the 12 ministries of the Global Country of World Peace.'
In August, 50 Yogic Flyers gathered at World Peace Bay in Huntsville, Ontario, for a course with the theme 'Creating 600 for an Invincible Canada'.* East-facing Vastu tents were used for course meetings and group practice of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme and Yogic Flying.
Raja Potter showed a slide of beautiful land in Ottawa where a Sidha community** will be built. Permissions have been received from the city to have 50 lots for 50 Vastu homes. They are first building a road into the property; the first phase of development calls for building 19 homes. They hope to have the first model home ready by this October.
Consciousness-Based Education is now starting in schools across Canada, one of which is in Ottawa with 220 students. The faculty have already learnt Transcendental Meditation, and the students will start in two weeks. This is all thanks to funding from the David Lynch Foundation and the work of the local Transcendental Meditation Teacher.
At a school in Vancouver with 100 students, 28 faculty have already learnt Transcendental Meditation. The students will learn this October, with the help of donations from a Vancouver company.
The Vancouver Invincibility School Board, which is focussing on building a Maharishi Invincibility School in Vancouver, is holding a large World Peace Assembly in December.
In New Brunswick, a First Nation school has received funding from the David Lynch Foundation. Most of the faculty have learnt Transcendental Meditation, and the students will start in October. Principals from three other schools are watching this programme very closely; they have already had presentations on Consciousness-Based Education.
A Maharishi Age of Enlightenment School, which has been running for over 20 years in British Columbia, recently increased their student population by 100%, to 90 students now enrolled.
A tour will take place in the Fall to give presentations on Consciousness-Based Education in major cities across Canada.
A tour began recently with 88 people receiving Advanced Techniques of the Transcendental Meditation Programme. The tour started in Vancouver and will visit cities across the country in the next few weeks. A Maharishi Vedic Vibration Technology tour is also in progress across Canada, having started in Vancouver. 'Everyone is very grateful to be receiving all Maharishi's knowledge and techniques,' the National Director said.

** Sidhas: individuals who practise Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying. A Sidha community is one founded to help create invincibility for a nation, based on the principles of Maharishi's Vedic Science and its practical applications for living perfection in all areas of life—featuring a Maharishi Peace Palace, a Maharishi School, a Maharishi Ayur-Veda Health Centre, homes, and buildings for group practice of Yogic Flying—all built according to Vedic Architecture, Maharishi Sthapatya Veda.
