Speaking recently on Maharishi Global Family Chat, Dr Robert Roth, National Director of Expansion for the Global Country of World Peace in the United States, reported new plans for the building of an ideal Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment (MSAE) in Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa.

On the final night of this year's David Lynch Weekend, Monday, 28 April, the leaders of Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment in Fairfield, Iowa announced plans to build a model version of their school, exactly the way the school's Founder, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, would have liked it to be built.

Currently, Dr Roth reported, a team of people is approaching top foundations from around the country, which are looking to help establish model educational institutions and replicate them throughout the country. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, noted Dr Roth, has given billions of dollars in attempts to establish such schools, with little success. 'Now that we have access to the right foundations,' said Dr Roth, 'we will be approaching them for minimal amounts of funding compared to what they're used to spending.' With this initial funding will be built the model MSAE in Maharishi Vedic City, as well as a centre to train principals from all over the world in implementing Consciousness-Based Education in their schools.
