fulfilment to the fields of education and world peace.
His message comes in response to the shooting incident at a university this past month that left 33 people dead.
Lynch stated that rules about guns in schools will not address the root of the cause of violence. Lynch is quoted in the article as saying that the Transcendental Meditation Technique, on the other hand, can cure this imbalance by allowing a person 'to dive within and experience this deepest level of life.'
The article comments on Lynch's own positive experience with TM and notes that in the last 2 years, the David Lynch Foundation for Consciousness-based Education and World Peace, has donated millions to help schools offer Transcendental Meditation to their students. The article goes on to say that the Foundation's current goal is for one million students around the world to be instructed in TM in order to give students a means to 'reduce stress and enhance creativity, intelligence and energy'.
