Maharishi School launched its new website earlier this month with improved navigation and greatly enhanced content that better reflects the outstanding qualities of Consciousness-Based education.
The site now includes more comprehensive coverage of curriculum details, sports event calendars, sports news, School news, media news, photographs, information about the Citiassist loan for learning the Transcendental Meditation program, and a more complete description of Consciousness-Based education. There are also enhanced technical features, which include the ability to donate online.
Written and edited by Cathy Knoles and Olivia Post, the site designer, Shepley Hansen, believes the site now better reflects the profound values of Maharishi School.
'My intention was to create a site with the vitality of K-12 school and the dignity of one of Maharishi's great institutions,' Mr. Hansen said. 'I wanted to showcase the faces of the students. Their radiance expresses the success of Maharishi School.'
Mr. Hansen partnered with web developer Craig Ridgley of Safire Internet Solutions to create a completely new design with state-of-the-art programming. Mr. Ridgley has extensive programming experience and has worked on many sites for affiliates promoting the Transcendental Meditation program.
Maharishi School Director Ashley Deans enthusiastically praises the site and is impressed with the content on Maharishi's knowledge, along with the ability to track the School's sports teams, the Pioneers, online. He also applauds the section describing the School's recent installation of solar technology.
'Olivia, Cathy, Shepley, and Craig have done a magnificent job in presenting the Consciousness-Based approach to education of Maharishi School and the outstanding achievements of its students to the world,' Dr. Deans said.
The website address is as before: http://www.maharishischooliowa.org.
