On 5 June 2005 KTVO-TV Kirksville reported: Students at the Maharishi School (MUM) in Fairfield not only won the highest number of first and second place awards at the 'World Destination Imagination Competition' in Knoxville, they also took home more first and second place awards than the entire state of California. It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring fulfilment to the field of education.

Destination Imagination is one of the world's largest creativity and problem-solving competition programmes for youth, with thousands of participants from 47 US states and 15 countries participating annually. The MUM teams won five first and second place awards. The state of California, which was represented by 27 schools, took a total of four.

There were a total of seven awards won from Texas and three from Wisconsin. No other state or country took more first or second place prizes than that.

More than 800 teams from around the world competed, with 40-60 teams in each category of the competition.

Every day Global Good News documents the rise of a better quality of life dawning in the world and highlights the need for introducing Natural Law based—Total Knowledge based—programmes to bring the support of Nature to every individual, raise the quality of life of every society, and create a lasting state of world peace.
