In Greece, plans are developing to build a Maharishi Peace Palace in the eastern part of the country. The Peace Palace will offer courses in the Transcendental Meditation programme and its advanced techniques, along with other programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi to promote reduced stress and improved brain functioning, better health, and business success.
Plans being developed also include building a Maharishi Tower of Invincibility in the area, said an administrator of the Transcendental Meditation organization in Greece recently. On either side of the Tower will be a university for women and one for men.
As the home of Total Knowledge of Natural Law in the country, the planned Maharishi Peace Palace and Tower of Invincibility will be like 'a new Parthenon', the administrator said, referring to the revered monument on the Acropolis in Athens, the symbol of wisdom in Greek culture.
In 1961 Maharishi visited Greece and viewed the Parthenon and other historic structures that exemplify the country's ancient heritage of knowledge.
The Maharishi Peace Palace and other structures will be designed and built in accordance with Vastu principles of Maharishi Vedic architecture, to promote good fortune, health, and well-being for all who visit and enjoy its programmes.
The Vastu design will also magnify the influence of coherence, harmony, and peace that will be created for the country from the Maharishi Peace Palace and Tower of Invincibility—as a result of advanced meditators' daily group practice of Maharishi's peace-creating technologies of consciousness.
There are also plans to begin offering Maharishi Ayur-Veda rejuvenation therapy (Panchakarma) beginning this autumn, in a nice hotel on a beautiful Greek island.
