Eva Mendes is famous for her beauty and style, but in a recent interview with Spotceleb.com she revealed the thing she values most in life is balance—and all it takes for her to achieve this is Transcendental Meditation.
'I'm actually huge into meditation, Transcendental Meditation, and that really helps create not only a sense of balance . . . but serenity and a calm state of mind . . . it helps me deal with life's ups and downs, coming from more of a centred place.'
She also spoke of the influence of Hollywood film director David Lynch's book on TM and creativity, Catching the Big Fish, and how the technique has helped her as an actor.
'It helps creatively on a level that I cannot describe . . . . it's tapping into something so deep that when I reap the rewards, I do not even know I'm reaping them. It's a more overall kinda thing.'
