On 19 March 2008 Portal Hernanderias (Paraguay) reported: The Maharishi Natural Reserve in Paraguay, with 343 hectares of forest, will offer a new tourist attraction at the base of the spectacular saltos de Monday (the Monday Waterfalls), in the Alto Parana region of Paraguay. It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring fulfilment to the field of culture.

The article stated, 'Across the river from the President Franco Municipal Park, this site presents an entirely new perspective of the falls, with a panoramic viewpoint like none other before it.'

Among the many educational and recreational activities available at the reserve is an interpretive trail, featuring regional conservation objects on fourteen different signposts. Such activities as this will give tourists the chance to discover the wide range of natural attractions in the area. They will even be able to venture down a steep path to the base of the waterfalls—an incredible experience.

Paraguay Minister of Tourism Liz Rossanna Cramer agrees that the Maharishi Natural Reserve will offer a new and interesting option for tourists, while remaining consistent with the ministry's goals for tourism in the Alto Parana Region.

The property belongs to Maharishi Country of World Peace SA, which received help from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in creating the reserve. As of yet, there has been set no official opening date, with further plans for development in progress.

As Minister Liz Rossanna Cramer states, 'Maharishi Natural Reserve is an investment which we support enthusiastically as part of a global plan for development in the Alto Parana region, with new and better infrastructure to attract tourists.'

Every day Global Good News documents the rise of a better quality of life dawning in the world and highlights the need for introducing Natural Law based—Total Knowledge based—programmes to bring the support of Nature to every individual, raise the quality of life of every society, and create a lasting state of world peace.
