Maharishi University of Management Press announces the release on six DVDs of the historic lecture series by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Transcendental Meditation program and the Global Country of World Peace.
The six beautiful films in this series are important historical records of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's presentation to the world of the supreme Vedic wisdom he brought out over the course of 50 years. The knowledge of how to unfold humanity's unlimited creative potential and gain support of Natural Law which Maharishi presents in these addresses has promoted the transformation of time which is now occurring on earth.
The series includes six DVDs:
A Promise for the Family of Man—Maharishi's memorable lecture on the Science of Creative Intelligence® to an audience of 2,900 in Houston's famous Jones Hall. Color, 60 minutes, recorded in 1972.
Maharishi at Lake Louise—Recorded by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, this film features rare footage of Maharishi explaining the nature of life and principles of his Transcendental Meditation® program while walking through alpine meadows and alongside glacial lakes. Color, 25 minutes, recorded in 1968.
Maharishi at the American Association of Higher Education—In March 1973, more than 3,000 prominent educators met in Chicago to explore the relationship of the quality of life to higher education. Maharishi was the keynote speaker and gave one of the most comprehensive explanations to date of the significance of his teaching for education. Color, 45 minutes, recorded in 1973.
Maharishi at the Royal Albert Hall, London—This film records an important milestone in Maharishi's unprecedented endeavor to spiritually regenerate the world. Color, 110 minutes, recorded in 1974.
Maharishi on Government—Maharishi's meetings with the Governors and Legislatures of Illinois and Michigan in the United States. Maharishi describes his philosophy of government in detail and takes questions from the Michigan Legislature. Color, 30 minutes, recorded in 1973.
Maharishi's Lecture at Harvard Law Forum—In this lecture, filmed by local PBS station WGBH, Maharishi offers ''something which is so essential to life and that has been overlooked.'' Maharishi gives an Introductory Lecture on Transcendental Meditation with characteristic humor, warmth, serenity, authority, and insight. Black and white, 60 minutes, recorded in 1968.
