Realizing Maharishi's vision for the nation and world: Peace Palace celebration in Rendlesham, England
by Global Good News staff writer

27 August 2009
Continuing his address at the recent celebration at Maharishi Garden Village in Rendlesham, Suffolk County, England, Raja Peter Warburton, Raja of Invincible Great Britain for the Global Country of World Peace, described the many features of the Maharishi Peace Palace soon to be built in the community, and how this structure will fulfil the vision of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi for the world.
Please also see Parts I and II of this article, as well as Global Good News articles featuring an overview of the celebration and the speech by Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace.
'This Peace Palace will bring great support for the Global Country of World Peace and all of Maharishi's programmes,' said Raja Peter. The Peace Palace, he said, will include a Maharishi Ayur-Veda health centre, as well as large halls for group practice of Yogic Flying, instruction in the Transcendental Meditation Programme, and residence courses for practitioners of the Transcendental Meditation and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programmes.
Also offered in the building will be Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Courses, and distance education programmes in conjunction with Maharishi University of Management, Fairfield, Iowa, USA—including a Master's in Business Administration degree and degrees in Sustainable Living.
'Most importantly, we plan to house a group of Maharishi Vedic Pandits here at the Peace Palace. This will elevate the atmosphere to another level,' said Raja Peter. The Pandits will engage in special peace-creating Vedic performances, a key element of Maharishi's programme to create invincibility for every nation and peace for the world.
Continuing his address, Raja Peter discussed ways in which the new Peace Palace might help realize Maharishi's goals for Great Britain and the world. 'When Maharishi said, "My work is done," last January (2008) before he left us, he meant that he had given us all the knowledge he had to give. And this Peace Palace will reflect that—offering the whole beautiful range of knowledge and programmes. So our vision this evening at this celebration is to realize Maharishi's vision for the country—and for every country—which is to create Heaven on Earth, establishing Raam Raj, the administration of total Natural Law.
'How do we do that? Maharishi gave us a simple formula: 800 Yogic Flyers [to create invincibility for Great Britain], which could be in different parts of the country. With the building of this Peace Palace, we'll be able to establish an assembly of nearly 400 Yogic Flyers in Rendlesham, including Maharishi Vedic Pandits.' Raja Peter also congratulated Maharishi European Sidhaland in Skelmersdale, England, which already holds 200 Yogic Flyers, 'a group which we expect to grow soon. In one to two years, we could have an invincible nation and never look back' in the rising waves of positivity, harmony, peace, and prosperity in every area of national life.
'The establishment of this Peace Palace here—this huge Vastu (Vedic Architecture) building with enormous potential for courses and Yogic Flying groups—will tip the momentum to make this nation invincible, and fulfil our mission.' Raja Peter also said that this community in Rendlesham will have not only a Peace Palace, but a Maharishi Tower of Invincibility, a Maharishi Invincibility School, and all of Maharishi's programmes he had mentioned earlier. 'And we mustn't forget that Scotland is very close to doing the same in Edinburgh, and Wales is moving along towards invincibility as well.'
Raja Peter concluded by emphasizing the broader effect the Maharishi Peace in Rendlesham is likely to have. 'This will be the first Peace Palace built according to Maharishi's complete and perfect design in Europe. Not only will it tip the balance towards invincibility in this country, but it will help the whole of Europe.'
He expressed his thanks to all who attended the event, saying, 'Enjoy the bliss. Maharishi came to the world to bring the message that life is bliss—that the nature of life is the expansion of happiness, and that is what this Peace Palace will bring to us personally, as a nation, and through our nation as a positive contribution to the whole world.'
