Brazil: Dr David Lynch inspires wide press coverage for Maharishi's programmes on first day of week-long national tour

The next day, the journalists' enthusiastic response to Dr Lynch's message echoed in national news reports, including a broadcast on Brazilian prime-time television, with prominent articles appearing in newspapers which, in the past, have published quality articles on Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and other programmes. In addition, continued Raja Luis, the 'echo' spread to the International Herald Tribune, which dedicated an article to Dr Lynch's visit and his goal to eliminate violence in Rio de Janeiro through group practice of Yogic Flying.

'A big wave has started in the national consciousness of Brazil,' said Raja Luis. 'With each new tour, Dr Lynch and Donovan appear more and more enlightened, expressing more fully the value of Maharishi's knowledge. We expect this wave of appreciation in Brazil to spread quickly to other Latin American nations, since the message of Dr Lynch is so timely, and expressed so clearly, innocently, and directly.'
