Global Country of World Peace honours the enlightened leadership of Raja John Hagelin

The enlightened leadership and achievements of Dr John Hagelin*, Raja of Invincible America, were honoured on 9 June 2008 by the Global Country of World Peace during a grand global celebration.

Maharaja Adhiraj Raja Raam, first ruler of the Global Country of World Peace, and other dignitaries spoke eloquently of Raja Hagelin's historic role, working closely with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi to bring out the complete knowledge of the Unified Field of total Natural Law from the perspective of both modern science and Maharishi's Vedic Science. Equally lauded was Raja Hagelin's extraordinary ability to put this supreme knowledge into practice in his perfect administration through silence of Invincible America.

The celebration was held in the Patanjali Golden Dome** on the campus of Maharishi University of Management (M.U.M.) in Fairfield, Iowa, USA, and broadcast live globally via satellite and over the Internet on the Maharishi Channel, Channel 3.

Maharaja Adhiraj Raja Raam sent a beautiful audiotaped message from the International Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in MERU, Holland, which was presented by Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, the host of the celebration at M.U.M.

Dr Bevan Morris also commented on the occasion, reflecting on many of Maharishi's words of deep appreciation and praise for Raja Hagelin through the years. As part of his talk, Dr Morris introduced an excerpt from a videotape of Maharishi speaking about Raja Hagelin on the first day of his Coronation as the Raja of Invincible America in November of 2007.

Many other Rajas were in attendance and contributed their brilliant presence to the occasion. During the celebration Vedic Pandits chanted traditional Vedic recitation in honour of Raja Hagelin, and many leaders of the Global Country of World Peace, the University, and Raja Hagelin's national administration in the United States presented garlands and tributes.

Many commented on the especially timely and auspicious character of the celebration, coming just at the time when the number of Yogic Flyers required for the national invincibility of the United States was first being attained in both the morning and evening sessions of the Invincible America Assembly at M.U.M. and in nearby Maharishi Vedic City.

In the coming days, Global Good News will feature articles presenting Maharaja Adhiraj Raja Raam's message and Dr Morris's comments.
