The second part of the celebration featured an address by Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, warmly congratulating the distinguished leaders of government and education, and those of the Maharishi Resort, including Teachers and practitioners of Transcendental Meditation, and Yogic Flyers—who were all gathered in Mexico and connected via videoconference with the Rajas and Ministers at the International Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in Meru, Netherlands, for this great achievement.
Dr Morris said, 'I was very honoured to be invited by Dr Feldman, Kuber-ji, Minister of Finance and Planning of the Global Country of World Peace, and by Raja Luis, the Raja of Latin America, to participate in this historic inauguration today of the Maharishi Resort in Cuauhtémoc, in Chihuahua, Mexico. And I'm very honoured to represent in this grand celebration, Maharaja Adhiraj Raja Raam, the First Ruler of the Global Country of World Peace.
Dr Morris gave his appreciation to the distinguished guests for their heartfelt expressions of welcome and appreciation for this auspicious endeavour. 'It was a great thrill for us here in Holland today, to witness the participation of Dr Fernandez, Mayor of Cuauhtémoc, and Dr Garcia, the Rector of the Regional University of the North, and we are so grateful to them for blessing this celebration.'
Explaining the historic significance of the project, Dr Morris said, 'This project, the Maharishi Resort, is a world-class accomplishment that is creating thrills of joy all around the world. Eight beautifully constructed Fortune Creating buildings, on a vast land of 2400 hectares, with wonderful weather, with beautiful views—really thousands upon thousands of people from all over the world are going to enjoy this beautiful resort.
Dr Morris also expressed heartfelt congratulations to the leaders of the project, Teachers of Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flyers in the gathering in Mexico, recognizing their great contributions and very moving expressions of gratitude and good fortune to participate in this historic project to create enlightenment and invincibility in Mexico.
'I want to congratulate Mario Aguilera and express how very much we were moved to hear him describe his very tender and trusting relationship His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace, and how he has completely fulfilled Maharishi's trust in him. I also want to say a big thank you to Daniel Seymour who has spearheaded this project in a very marvellously reliable and dedicated way that has led to this great day today—well done, Daniel!'
He also expressed great fulfilment in seeing and hearing other speakers, including Dr Monica Liskor—'radiating higher consciousness . . . . all the Teachers of Transcendental Meditation and the Yogic Flyers there—believe me, seeing you through the video, you are all radiant and bright, and we just feel so proud of you today.'
