Dr Hagelin speaks about the total transformation of the destiny of humankind, 12 January 2008 - Part II

Speaking during the global celebration of 12 January 2008 held in MERU, Holland and broadcast live around the world via satellite and the Internet, Dr John Hagelin, Raja of Invincible America for the Global Country of World Peace, emphasized that not only has Maharishi created a total transformation of the destiny of humankind, but he has also established the means to perpetuate it.

Continuing his talk, which was featured in Part I of this article, Dr Hagelin said that the 'Brahmananda Saraswati Trust [will] ensure that this achievement is everlasting in the world—everlasting invincibility, everlasting harmony, everlasting immortality and bliss for every human soul on this earth.'

'What gift can we give Maharishi in return for this?' Dr Hagelin asked. 'One beautiful gift that is being celebrated the world over today, and has been celebrated now for the last 12 hours, and will be celebrated for at least another 12 hours, is the establishment of these extraordinary Maharishi Towers of Invincibility, towering in the field of knowledge, living monuments to invincibility, perpetuating invincibility in the world. All over the world today as the sun moves from east to west the entire globe unites in the celebration . . . in the continued and perpetual blessings of Maharishi's gifts to the world.

'The full magnitude of Maharishi's gift to us, the full magnitude of his gift to the world is only dawning, a glimpse of that gift is visible today. And very soon the sunshine of global transformation will be with us, and henceforth perpetually in the long blissful future of mankind, the long transformed destiny of the world—in light, in bliss, in the totality of knowledge, in affluence and abundance, in perfect health and longevity.

'That is the gift that Maharishi has given, and is giving, and will perpetually give—that perpetuity is ensured on this auspicious day, through the joint gifts that Maharishi has just bestowed on us in these last two days: the gift of the Brahmananda Saraswati Trust, the perpetual fund, the interest from which will perpetuate immortality and invincibility for the entire world by supporting the Vedic Pandits of India. . . .

'Maharishi has achieved that in just this last day. And our contribution to the Brahmananda Saraswati Trust as a global family will be to ensure that it is enough once and for all to guide the destiny and ensure the safety of humankind for all future generations. . . . .

'And this other gift,' Dr Hagelin continued, 'which is truly a gift to us, although Maharishi has called it a gift to him, are these shimmering towers of Total Knowledge, which will be points of pilgrimage all over the world, where people will be able to come and reverberate in the glory of the knowledge that is Maharishi's, that he received at the feet of Guru Dev*. . . .

'What a glorious and fitting gift to Maharishi, that this gift again be a gift to humankind, truly again a gift from Maharishi to us, the gift of perpetual invincibility in the world . . . the safeguard of Total Knowledge in the world. It is extraordinary that in Maharishi's parting and tender appeal to the Rajas, that he has asked them humbly for a gift, and this gift is in fact a gift to the world, the gift of invincibility for all future generations. . . .

'Maharishi has handled the destiny of . . . 6.5 billion souls on earth and many billions to come. He alone has fashioned the knowledge, shaped the Vedic Knowledge with such perfection that it can handle the destiny of 6.5 billion lives on earth—and with ease . . . a few hundred or a few thousand Yogic Flyers . . . enlivening the field of infinite silence will spontaneously guide the destiny of humankind. What an extraordinary knowledge is this. . . .

'Maharishi orchestrated this most complete and powerful revival of knowledge in the history of human civilization, in the history of the ancient Vedic wisdom. He has guided us at every stage in the implementation of this knowledge, so that not only the foundation for Heaven on Earth has he given us, given to the world, but the towering edifice of Vedic civilization has been given to the world. Maharishi has taken the science to the technology and has . . . brought it to the world . . . so that in more an more countries throughout the world, invincibility is a living, breathing reality of life. . . .'

Dr Hagelin said 'Our task is so easy. Our task is to simply consolidate what Maharishi has done and to perpetuate it.'

'And the tools for that perpetuation have been given to us in the Brahmananda Saraswati Trust and these towers, these Maharishi Towers of Invincibility that are being inaugurated today with such great joy all over the world. . . .'
