Raja Dr John Hagelin speaks about the total transformation of the destiny of humankind, 12 January - Part I

During the global celebration of 12 January 2008 held in MERU, Holland and broadcast live around the world via satellite and the Internet on Channel 3 of the MaharishiChannel.org, Dr John Hagelin, Raja of Invincible America for the Global Country of World Peace, spoke about Maharishi's total transformation of the destiny of humankind.

Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, introduced Dr Hagelin, saying that yesterday, on 11 January, when Maharishi was reflecting on all that was expressed by the Rajas (Administrators) and Ministers of the Global Country of World Peace on the achievement of Invincibility for the world, 'in thinking about all that was said, the Invincible Raja of America came to his mind'.

Dr Morris said that in speaking about the discovery of the Unified Field and the spontaneous operation of all life on earth from this field, Maharishi had said the previous day:

''In you I have seen that invincibility that cannot be isolated anywhere. You will be able to design the human race functioning on the level of invincibility and motivated by total Natural Law. Please let the world know what I am speaking about—because unfathomable is the area in which I am floating now. . . . give me the joy of your Vedic Wisdom of life.''

After this introduction by the Prime Minister expressing Maharishi's words of appreciation and praise of Dr John Hagelin, Raja of Invincible America, Dr Hagelin addressed the assembly gathered on the 12 January and said:

'12th of January is that most precious day of our year', Dr Hagelin said, where we celebrate the extraordinary life and extraordinary achievements of Maharishi. 'And what a more precious year to celebrate than this year when Maharishi has proclaimed the fulfilment of his life's work,' Dr Hagelin said.

'The fulfilment of the greatest of all dreams in the long history of humankind has been achieved. What Maharishi has done is so beyond comprehension, we could never stop celebrating it, never stop rejoicing in the total transformation of the destiny of humankind.

'Maharishi has taken the world from a state of extreme ignorance, where even in Veda Bhumi Bharat, the Land of the Veda [India], the Vedic Literature was scattered, misunderstood, out of use. . . . So little of the light of God, so little of Natural Law was guiding the destiny of humankind that problems, ignorance, suffering was everywhere, including in our own lives.

'And Maharishi brought the light of Total Knowledge, the will of God, and lit that light in all of us, so that it shines so bright in . . . this assembly of the leaders of the world, under the serene and auspicious presence of Maharaja Nader Raam and all the great leaders of Maharishi's world wide [Transcendental Meditation] Movement assembled all over the world today—this same light has been lit now, and is shining irreversibly throughout the world. . . . Invincibility, unity, immortality, bliss are irreversible now in the completely transformed destiny of our world.

'What Maharishi has achieved . . . is unprecedented in the whole history of the Vedic wisdom. There has never been a revival of this nature, where the whole of the Vedic Literature has been completely restored and set in perfect sequence. . . . the infinite organizing power of the total knowledge of the Veda has been revived by Maharishi and . . . [is] systematically transforming every aspect of our world from government, to defence, to agriculture. . . .

'Today on the 12th of January we celebrate the extraordinary unprecedented gifts of Maharishi, gifts that he's continuing to pour out to us today and perpetually for the world. Maharishi has irreversibly revived the totality of the Veda, and irreversibly transformed the world—every aspect of civilization raised to perfection. . . . Maharishi has transformed the darkness of Kali Yuga into Heaven on Earth, Sat Yuga, and sees that light of life irreversible in the world today.

'Maharishi has achieved it,' Dr Hagelin said.
