Dr Hagelin pledges to create a peaceful, invincible USA and world

In a beautiful global ceremony on 20 November 2007 in MERU, the Netherlands, Dr John Hagelin was crowned as Raja (Administrator) of Invincible America for the Global Country of World Peace. Dr Hagelin is a world-renowned quantum physicist, who is Executive Director of the International Center for Invincible Defense in New York City, USA, Founding President of Maharishi Central University in Kansas, USA, and also Minister of Science and Technology of the Global Country of World Peace.

Following the Coronation ceremony, Dr Hagelin gave the following address expressing his humility and gratitude, pledging to work with his fellow Rajas to create perpetual peace and invincibility for his country and for the world.

'I am overwhelmed with gratitude and humility at this life-transforming moment. I'm overcome with gratitude to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, for this extraordinary opportunity, this life-transforming opportunity and responsibility to serve my country, and bring enlightenment and invincibility to my country through Maharishi's world-transforming knowledge of the Constitution of the Universe.

'I am grateful to Maharishi's complete, systematic revival, in this scientific age, of the eternal Vedic wisdom that is transforming the destiny of our planet, that has transformed the destiny of our planet, bringing perpetual freedom, bliss, enlightenment, and invincibility to every nation and a perpetually peaceful family of nations.

'It is amazing to me, it is a miracle to me, that such a giant of the Holy Tradition, such a Jagadguru, with such global vision and global responsibility for the enlightenment of the entire world—for this giant of the Holy Tradition who lifts in a single stroke, entire countries to enlightenment and invincibility—it is a miracle to me that such a Jagadguru, can at the same time, be such a fatherly, intimately personal Guru attending to the personal enlightenment of each and every one of us.

'It is amazing to me to have received from Maharishi this extraordinary blessing and life-transforming responsibility to serve the eternal tradition of Vedic Masters in this royal and divine and holy way.

'I am grateful to Raja Rajadhiraj Raja Raam-ji* for his trust in me, and for his generosity in appointing me as the Raja of Invincible America. Raja Raam is a Raja of Rajas, and a supreme example of rulership through the eternal dynamic silence of the Constitution of the Universe, and [an] eternal example of one who harnesses the infinite organizing power of the Constitution of the Universe to achieve the welfare of the whole [of] human kind.

'He is the ultimate King of knowledge, of rulership by knowledge, and an example to all rulers through his world-transforming knowledge and scientific discovery of the Constitution of the Universe, the Veda, and Vedic Literature, in the physiology of everyone.

'He is that one individual in the whole galaxy of scholars, scientists, and rulers of this world, and of great well-wishers of human kind, he is the one who is deserving of the rule of the world as the Maharaja of the Global Country of World Peace, for he has shown everyone the intimate relevance of the eternal Vedic wisdom of Maharishi to every human life—showing that the Constitution of the Universe, total Natural Law, is eternally lively in every human physiology, and that we are all cosmic beings, that we carry within us the infinite organizing power that governs the vast universe.

'He is my inspiration, and the inspiration of all of us for rulership through knowledge, and rulership through Being. Rulership through knowledge, knowing by Being, rulership through Being, through the eternal silence—he perfectly embodies the eternal, infinitely dynamic, infinitely silent reality of the Constitution of the Universe that maintains the universe with perfect order. Through that power of infinite organizing power of Natural Law, he rules; and I am committed to that style of ideal and divine and royal rulership of the Holy Tradition of Vedic Masters.

'I am grateful to the Vedic Pandits for their beautiful knowledge, for being the custodians of supreme knowledge of the Constitution of the Universe, and for showering on us today the blessings of the eternal Veda. We are all surcharged with the transforming power of the Constitution of the Universe now, in this great Rajyabhishek Coronation Ceremony.

'We are all transformed and ringing with the silence of dynamism of the Constitution of the Universe. The Vedic Pandits are the cream of this world, and the Vedic families, the most precious heritage of human kind. And I am grateful for their dedicated service and for showering on us these days, such totality of the transforming power of the Constitution of the Universe.

'I am grateful to His Excellency Kuber [Dr Benjamin Feldman, Minister of Finance anc Planning of the Global Country of World Peace], for his most excellent conduct of this most auspicious coronation ceremony. Jai Guru Dev.

Dr Hagelin also expressed his deep gratitude to his mother, 'for a lifetime of giving and giving and giving and giving', who was also present during the Coronation ceremony. 'I have great gratitude to you, and the only way I can repay that gratitude, I say, is to dedicate my life to the eternal service of human kind.

'I am grateful to all of you, all my fellow Rajas, and all of the great national leaders for the outpouring of such pure appreciation and love these days, to myself and to my mother. Such pure expressions of absolute love and of giving, and of congratulations, can only be from the purest of hearts, from the most enlightened assembly. And it was this enlightened assembly that created the momentum that caused this Coronation ceremony, so I am extremely grateful to everyone here.

'I am grateful to my fellow Rajas of America for laying the groundwork for a truly invincible nation with rising numbers of Yogic Flyers, virtually enough already to ensure the peace and invincibility of our country.

'I pledge to work intimately with all of my fellow Rajas to perpetuate, to consolidate peace perpetual and invincibility for the USA, so that henceforth that country, the most creative country in the world, will be purely a source of positivity to human kind.

'I dedicate myself to working with all the Rajas in the global family of Rajas, and the Ministers of Maharishi-ji's and Raja Raam's court, with all the leaders of Maharishi's worldwide Movement to bring peace perpetual, and invincibility, to the entire family of nations, and permanent peace on earth.

'On this most momentous day for me, I commit all of my energies, all of my efforts, all of the knowledge that Maharishi has given to me, all of the dynamic silence that Maharishi has given to me through the precious techniques that the Guru bestows, I dedicate and commit my entire Being, today and every day henceforth, to upholding the purity and effectiveness of the teaching of the Vedic Masters, and to achieving in our generation, immediately, and for every generation, the peace and invincibility of the USA, and peace and invincibility to the world.

'Together, we, the Rajas, the National Leaders, and the Global Ministers, and every Yogic Flyer and [Teacher of Transcendental Meditation], we will create a permanently peaceful and invincible world, now, and for all future generations. Jai Guru Dev.'
