Jeffrey S. Abrahmson, who is leading the project to build a Tower of Invincibility in Washington DC, USA recently reported on the success of a press conference announcing the plan, held on 5 October at the Hay Adams Hotel in Lafayette Park, in front of the White House.
As reported in Part I of this article, the press conference was well attended and the project received widespread positive coverage.
Mr Abramson read excerpts from some of the press articles, including one from the Washington Business Journal, which, he said, is the leading business newspaper in Washington. The article was accompanied by a photo.
'Some people think DC needs another monument,' Mr Abramson read. 'This time around, it would be a symbol of freedom, peace and sovereignty, to be epitomized as a Tower of Invincibility.'
The article quoted Mr Abramson as saying, ''. . . we have so many monuments in Washington that symbolize aspirations of patriots of the past, and we need to cherish the desires of patriots today who want to ensure [the] invincibility of America.'
The continuation of Mr Abramson's talk including more excerpts from the press, will be featured in Part III of this series.
