Union Environment Minister Harsh Vardhan inaugurated 'The Global Cooling Innovation Summit' on November 12, 2018, in New Delhi. The Global Cooling Prize is an international competition to encourage the development of a residential cooling technology which impacts the environment five times lesser than the standard Room Air Conditioning (RAC).
