Arizona is among top states for renewable energy, report says

On 18 July 2018 Cronkite News - Arizona PBS reported: The Environment Arizona and Policy Center released a report on Tuesday (17 July) that focuses on how well the nation is utilizing renewable energy. Arizona has dramatically increased renewable energy production since 2008, the report said, and ranks high in several categories. Arizona came in second to California in 2017. Since 2008, Arizona's production has grown from 35 gigawatts to 6,498 GW. One GW can power about 300,000 homes.
