UK air pollutants continue decline

On 15 February 2018 BBC News reported: Total emissions from motor vehicles fell 12 per cent from 2012 to 2016, according to UK government figures. Environmentalists have welcomed the overall drop in pollutants from cars and lorries (trucks). The reduction is thought to have been propelled by tightening restrictions. The one emission going in the wrong direction is ammonia from farming.
