Great Britain: Outstanding success of Dr Fred Travis's tour on Transcendental Meditation and brain development

Dr Fred Travis, Director of the Center for Brain, Consciousness, and Cognition at Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA recently undertook a tour of Great Britain presenting research on the benefits of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's Transcendental Meditation Programme in terms of brain development and brainwave coherence. Dr Travis gave presentations at some of the great business and educational institutions in the nation.

Dr Travis is a great leader of research on EEG brainwave activity and the development of coherent, integrated functioning of the brain through the Transcendental Meditation Programme and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme including Yogic Flying.

Everywhere he spoke, Dr Travis's message was received with tremendous enthusiasm by educators and business leaders, said Raja Peter Warburton, Raja of Invincible Great Britain for the Global Country of World Peace.

Audiences were universally captivated by his quiet understated way of speaking and with the profound knowledge he presented.

One of Dr Travis's lectures was held at the coherence-creating community of Yogic Flyers in Skelmersdale. In addition to members of the community, forty educators attended the lecture. As was the case at every speaking engagement, the audience didn't want to leave at the end. They stayed in the hall until it was needed for another event, and then the whole group moved out to the car-park en masse in order to speak with Dr Travis further.

After the talk, a deputy head teacher wrote a letter expressing her deep appreciation for this knowledge and her wish to offer Transcendental Meditation in her school.

A journalist who attended the event, afterward signed up for an introductory lecture about Transcendental Meditation himself.
