The power of 'Invincibility groups': Raja Peter Warburton - Part I

On a recent Maharishi Global Family Chat, Raja Peter Warburton, Raja of Great Britain for the Global Country of World Peace, spoke about the power and influence of the coherence created by the Invincibility Assembly, currently taking place in Great Britain, which is similar to those in the United States and other countries.

Raja Peter began by saying that a recent development in England showed 'how we can change the trends in the world from the level of consciousness, how our invincibility groups—groups of individuals practising the Transcendental Meditation and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme together—are the most powerful force in the world for good.' He said that we can campaign on the surface for years and years about something, but 'a little coherence-creating will go along way.'

Raja Peter prefaced his discussion of these events by recounting a recent conversation with Raja John Fagan, in which Raja Fagan expressed deep concern about genetically modified foods.

Raja Peter explained that Raja Fagan does not have a domain in terms of countries, as do other Rajas. He has a special title given to him by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi: Raja with responsibility for food purity and safety for healthy invincibility. So Raja Fagan is in charge of the purity and safety of the food supply for the whole world.

' ''Purity'' means good, healthy food,' said Raja Peter. ' ''Safety'' means that it is secure and that it can be produced generation after generation by the people of each country. This is for healthy invincibility, which means it is food that supports the health of the planet and thereby supports permanent invincibility of every nation.'

Raja Fagan described to Raja Peter how 10 years ago Maharishi's organization had started a campaign in the world to ban genetically modified (GM) foods. Initially this had taken off most dramatically in Great Britain. There was a very strong response to this and people understood that 'tinkering with Nature' on the level of the genetic blueprint of life, without knowing the full consequences of what was being done, was the most dangerous thing.

'Maharishi was in fact the one who crystallized the campaign when he pointed out that actually we should not just be warning about GM foods, but there should be a global ban completely on genetic modification of food,' said Raja Peter.

That campaign began and was very successful, Raja Peter continued. Raja Fagan had created the groundwork for that campaign by returning all the grants he had for genetic engineering research. He took a very bold stand in the scientific community by doing that.*

Later Maharishi launched this campaign, by saying that if you change the genetic makeup of foods artificially that will affect the human physiology; it will affect our ability to experience higher states of consciousness. 'From his level of knowledge of cosmic life, he saw the effects of this very profound interruption in the flow of natural intelligence in the world,' said Raja Peter.

'With Maharishi's support and the work of Raja John Fagan, a very powerful campaign was launched. All the supermarkets in Great Britain soon actually refused to take any GM food on their shelves. To this day no GM crops have been grown commercially in Great Britain,' said Raja Peter.
