Raja John Hagelin: The principles of Nature's government, Unified Field-based administration of the universe - Part 1 - 18 November 2007, MERU, Holland

At a session of the European Assembly of Founders of Invincibility, Dr John Hagelin gave a remarkable discourse on the principles of Nature's functioning throughout the universe and in our human physiology. This address was the inspiration for his being crowned a Raja of the Global Country of World Peace by Maharaja Nader Raam, first sovereign ruler of the Global Country, on 20 November.

Dr Hagelin introduced his remarkable address by saying that he would like to marvel with all the National Leaders attending the European Conference at some of the extraordinarily profound principles of Nature's own government of Unified Field-based administration of the universe; and how, through the technologies of Maharishi's Vedic Science, and through the policies and programmes of Maharaja Nader Raam, we harness these profound organizing principles governing the universe with perfect order, flawlessly governing the ever-expanding universe.

'What are those principles, revealed by modern science, in its scientific re-discovery of the age-old principles of the eternal Vedic Science? First, of course, is the discovery of the Constitution of the Universe, the remarkable fact that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi [Founder of the Global Country of World Peace] has revealed that the universe has a constitution, just as every nation has a constitution. The universe has a constitution, the foundational level of Natural Law governing the diversity of the universe, and that foundational level of Natural Law is of course the discovery of the Unified Field, and the self-interacting dynamics of Unity at the basis of all diversity.

'All diversity in the ever-expanding universe and the innumerable Laws of Nature that uphold the functioning of the universe at every level, is just the sequential unfoldment, the expression of the Constitution of the Universe. And I want to show this very explicitly, because it is the first secret of Nature's administration, although a deeper, remarkable secret will be revealed a few minutes later, a more profound understanding of Maharishi's Vedic Science and Technology.

'The first principle is that at every level of manifestation, the Constitution of the Universe is reflected at the grand unified level; at the electroweak unified level; at the level of the fundamental particles and forces at the nuclear level; at the level of human physiology; at the level of the ever-expanding universe of galaxies—the Constitution of the Universe is revealed at every level. The Unified Field, the Constitution of the Universe, has its own internal symmetry and structure.

'In the language of modern science, it is the E8 x E8 internal gauge symmetry of the Unified Field, and exact parallel to the sequentially unfolding structure of the Veda, in particular the structure in numerical sequence of the Rk Veda.

'This eightfold by eightfold by eightfold unfoldment of the Rk Veda is also reflected in the Lagrangian of the Unified Field, the modern mathematical formulation of the Constitution of the Universe in its mathematical structure, and the eight fermionic degrees of freedom of the ten-dimensional superstring, of the 24 transverse bosonic degrees of freedom of the 26-dimensional bosonic string of the 92 92 92 or 64 64 64 equals 192 left-moving and right-moving vibrational degrees of freedom of the heterotic string in four dimensions.

'All of these are different expressions of the same mathematics, but in a slightly more elaborated form that parallel exactly the structure of the Veda with its eight Padas: its Pada of eight syllables, and its Richa of 24 syllables, and its Sukta* of 192 syllables. It is the very same mathematical structure revealed by the latest discoveries of modern science, and the Lagrangian of the superstring and its various stages of expression, each a sequentially more elaborated expression of the other. This Constitution of the Universe defines the foundational level of Nature's government, the self-interacting dynamics of Unity, the basis of all diversity. It's a completely unified and problem-free level of government. Self-interacting government is problem-free government.

'But this same reality is reflected in what we call the relative stages of expression of Natural Law, for example, the grand unified level which has its own symmetrical structure, called SU5 x U1 or simply U5. There is a symmetrical structure and internal dynamics at the grand unified level, but that grand unified structure, called SU5 or U5, is just a subset, a subgroup, a partial reflection of the E8 x E8 structure of the Constitution of the Universe, so the Constitution of the Universe is reflected even at the grand unified level and its structure.

'So the perfection of Nature's government automatically extends to the grand unified level which emerges from the super unified level and brings the perfection of that level with it. Similarly, electroweak unification, with its SU2 x U1 gauge structure or SU3 x SU2 x U1 symmetrical structure; this is just a partial reflection, or subgroup of the grand unified symmetry U5.

'So again, it's a partial reflection of the underlying perfection of the Unified Field. It contains and reflects the reality of the Constitution of the Universe, and therefore we would expect flawless administration, even at the electroweak level. And then there are all the elementary particle—the hadrons, the mesons, and the baryons and the leptons, including the proton and the neutron, and the quarks: all of these particles, remarkably, fall into symmetrical families.

'If you plot the elementary particles for their electric charge on one axis, and their ''strangeness'' on another axis, these elementary particles all fall into the most beautiful octagonal families, beautiful triagonal families, beautiful decamet families often, and they are all highly symmetrical and reflect again, even at the nuclear level, the myriad nuclear particles and forces. They reflect the structure of the Constitution of the Universe on yet another more concrete level, which explains to us why the governance of Nature is perfect even at the nuclear scale. And we know this is also true at the level of the human physiology.'
