A new consulting service was founded to encourage people to apply the knowledge of Maharishi Ayurveda health care to create a healthy society in every country.
The knowledge of Maharishi Ayurveda is especially needed today, when so many countries struggle with providing healthcare and maintaining the health of their citizens, said Lothar Pirc, founder and managing director of the Maharishi Ayurveda Health Clinic in Bad Ems, Germany and President of the Maharishi Ayurveda Health Center in Lancaster, Massachusetts. Mr PIrc recently also founded Pirc Clinic Consulting (PCC).
Maharishi Ayurveda is a proven, holistic medicine, he explained. 'It's been tested; we have seen it with tens of thousands of people' as well as in very encouraging research results.
'The treatments of Maharishi Ayurveda have been verified by modern scientific research,' the PCC website explains. 'A large number of studies into the effects of Maharishi Ayurveda have been conducted at more than 160 independent research institutes and universities in 35 countries. . . . These studies document the impressive contribution of Maharishi Ayurveda in maintaining the health of modern western individuals, as well as mental and behavioural improvements.'
'I would really like to encourage everyone who's gotten this wonderful knowledge [of Ayurveda] to go out and apply the knowledge' to meet the great worldwide need for this complete, effective system of health care, Mr Pirc said, explaining the motivation to open the new consultancy.
The website explains that it offers 'comprehensive services to assist in the development and management of Maharishi Ayurveda Health Centers (MAVHC)'. With 20 years of experience, expertise and leadership in the founding, development, and management of Maharishi Ayurveda Health Centers around the world, the firm can provide the support needed to establish and successfully run a MAVHC in one's home country.
Dr Rainer Picha, a classically trained medical doctor and expert in Ayurveda, praised the establishment of the new service for its highly experienced team and its contribution to the field of Maharishi Ayurveda.
'It is very timely that you're offering this service, and I hope many people around the world will make use of this great opportunity. . . . I'm sure we are going to see many more clinics around the world.'
This is the key to achieving the goal envisioned by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, founder of Maharishi Ayurveda, Dr Picha concluded—'to create a disease-free world, a world without suffering'.
