Interest in Maharishi Ayur-Veda health care programmes is rising in Italy.
A three-year course in Maharishi Ayur-Veda for doctors in Italy, which began in 2008, drew 50 participants in its first year and 35 in its second, reported Raja Mariano Facipieri, Raja of Invincible Italy for the Global Country of World Peace, on Maharishi Global Family Chat.*
The company distributing Maharishi Ayur-Veda products in Italy has seen a 10 per cent increase in activity, despite the downturn of the global economy. This success, said Raja Mariano, is due largely to the work of the company's director, who is also a Teacher of the Transcendental Meditation Programme. He added that leaders of the company gave 600 presentations throughout Italy to promote the products during 2009, at pharmacies, health food stores, doctors' offices, and private locations.
* Raja Mariano's report was featured on the 16 January 2010 Maharishi Global Family Chat, broadcast daily via Internet webcast on the Maharishi Channel, Channel 3. Podcasts of the daily Global Family Chat (audio track) are also now available for automatic download, via an RSS feed.
