On 21 October 2012 FOCUS Information Agency reported: Green energy projects are very topical in Romania in the recent months, Bronislav Denev, chief of the Commercial and Economic Section of the Bulgarian embassy in Bucharest, Romania, said in an interview with FOCUS News Agency. According to him, green energy is experiencing a boom in Romania and a lot of Bulgarian firms are interested in becoming subcontractors of these projects and, if possible, chief implementers. There is strong competition, indeed, he said.
