Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam visits his Capital in Maharishi Vedic City, USA

Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, First Ruler of the Global Country of World Peace, visited the seat of his administration in North America in Maharishi Vedic City, USA on Friday 3 April, and gave a beautiful address to 1,200 faculty, students, community leaders, and Invincible America Assembly participants in the Maharishi Patanjali Golden Dome of Pure Knowledge at Maharishi University of Management in nearby Fairfield.

Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, and President of Maharishi University of Management, accompanied Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam on his visit to the United States from the International Capital of the Global Country in MERU, Holland.

'We are really so fortunate that Maharaja has come to our community, to our Invincible America Assembly, to bless us on the great day of Raam Navami,'* Dr Morris said. 'This moment will live in our memory, because it is the first great visit of Maharaja anywhere in the world, since Maharishi has bestowed upon him the full responsibility for the leadership of this Movement, the bringing of Raam Raj** into the world. Maharaja means the great ruler, Adhiraj means preeminent among all rulers, and Rajaraam means in the line of Raja Raam the Great of Ayodhya, in whose kingdom Brahm (Totality, total Natural Law) was the ruler and suffering belonged to no one. So even in this title, we see the degree of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's admiration of this great ruler of our whole world.'

He described the 'great atmosphere of auspiciousness and bliss' since Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam's arrival at his Capital in Maharishi Vedic City, established by Maharishi as a seat for Maharaja in the US and North America. He was warmly welcomed by Maharishi Vedic Pandits performing Vedic recitation and a traditional ceremony of welcome, and by Rajas of the Global Country and Maharishi Purusha Programme members.

Before Maharaja addressed the gathering in the Dome, Dr Morris presented all the community leaders and groups to him, including those already noted, as well as Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment; Fairfield Mayor Ed Malloy, and the mayor and city council of Maharishi Vedic City; and leading Vedic experts from India—'everyone who is here together for their own enlightenment and bliss, and for the sake of the whole world—really the cream of the world are gathered here'.

Dr Morris expressed the gratitude of the whole community to Maharaja for his coming, explaining that he had come just for the purpose of being with everyone, especially on the day of Raam Navami, 'which truly embodies the nature of the administration' of the Global Country of World Peace.

Maharaja's visit coincided with great events in New York City: a major press conference Friday by the David Lynch Foundation to announce the 'Change Begins Within' benefit concert Saturday 4 April—headlined by Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, to raise funds for its global initiative to teach 1 million school children Transcendental Meditation.

Dr Morris described to Maharaja the community's achievements, particularly its dedication over many years to creating coherence in national consciousness through the large group of Yogic Flyers practising together twice daily in the two Golden Domes of Pure Knowledge—since 2006 designated as the Invincible America Assembly by Maharishi. 'Probably just in the two Golden Domes, there will be something like 30 million hours of transcending, from all the long practice over the years,' he said.

Dr Morris praised Invincible America Assembly participants, explaining to Maharaja that they have been unfolding through their daily long group practice 'a highly developed stage of human consciousness, fulfilling the birthright of every human being'. Arriving in the United States for the first time since the new year, Dr Morris congratulated the Assembly, commenting on the new momentum of evolutionary change and progress in the nation, 'emanating from the enlightened consciousness of this group of people', adding that this was a gift from Maharishi.
