UK organic market has seen six years of steady growth

On 15 February 2018 Fresh Plaza reported: The Soil Association's 2018 Organic Market Report reveals the UK organic market is now worth more than ever, at 2.2 billion British pounds, growing 6 per cent in 2017. The market has now had six years of steady growth ... 2017 saw sales of organic in independent retail grow by 9.7 per cent, and in home delivery by 9.5 per cent, with almost 30 per cent of all organic sales now taking place online or on the high street. Supermarket sales of organic have also continued to increase, rising by 4.2 per cent this year, while non-organic sales increased by just over 2 per cent.
