Formal collaborations have been established between Maharishi University of Management (MUM) in Fairfield, Iowa, USA, and four prestigious Chinese universities. This will result in those institutions sending some of their students to MUM as a component of their studies, as well as faculty members from MUM teaching at the four Chinese universities.

In addition, Maharishi University of Management will soon be inaugurating its new Institute for Chinese Language and Culture.

Three secondary schools in China—with a combined student population of 10,000—have expressed interest in implementing pilot programmes in Consciousness-Based Education.

In other news, the first centre for teaching the Transcendental Meditation Programme has been established in China, in a beautiful building located in the capital city of Beijing.
