The article features students at Maharishi School in West Lancashire, England, who attribute the enjoyment they find in their studies to the school's Consciousness-Based Education programme, which includes the Transcendental Meditation Technique.
'I really like the lessons in the Maharishi School because everyone is so focused and alert, and ready to learn,' said one young student. When the students have fresh, receptive minds, 'the teachers can give you involving, fun, and great work that you can really get into,' she said.
Students describe good effects they experience with Transcendental Meditation, which not only helps them focus on their studies, but reduces stress and anxiety, especially around exam time.
'After a day of school [TM] takes away all my stress, so I have energy to start again. All throughout my studies I've been a top student, and I owe this to TM. I can't think how people would live without such a technique.'
