Plans are underway in Latin America for great expansion and consolidation of Maharishi's programmes for Consciousness-Based Education.
It is projected that approximately 250,000 new students on the continent will be inspired to learn the Transcendental Meditation Programme by the end of this year, and that 50,000 or more of those students will go on to become Yogic Flyers, creating invincibility for their nations and the whole continent through their group practice.
Raja Jose Luis Alvarez, Raja of Invincible Latin America for the Global Country of World Peace, reported on this grand vision for his domain on 10 February 2009.
'In order to achieve this goal,' said Raja Luis, 'we plan to consolidate Consciousness-Based Education programmes in Latin America.' For example, he said, plans include introducing the programme increasingly at the level of whole school districts, rather than in single schools. 'Eventually, we hope to create a model for administration that can be applied to any province or state.' In addition, Raja Luis commented, many more Transcendental Meditation Teachers will need to be trained, to carry out this plan.
